You know the person. The one who makes Christmas shopping feel like an impossible task.
Ask them what they'd like and you get a vague shrug. "Oh, I don't really need anything." Press a bit harder and they'll say something unhelpful like "surprise me" or "honestly, don't worry about it."
They already own what they need. They buy things for themselves when they want them. They're not into gadgets for the sake of it, and they definitely don't want more stuff cluttering up their life.
So what do you buy someone like that? Something thoughtful. Something useful. Something they didn't know they needed. But once they have it, they'll wonder how they managed without it.
